Unfortunately, I have had to remove two reviews of this restaurant. They were both 10 out of 10, but they
were from the same person who was silly enough to think they could kid an ex IT security consultant that by
using different email addresses I wouldn't realise! Hopefully this isn't the restaurant staff / management
trying to boost ratings! If it happens again, I shall be forced to investigate further...

Went to Mountain View on a Friday evening, a few days after it opened and couldn't get in without booking!!!!

Good enough reason to revisit we thought.

Went the following Wednesday, didn't book but got in OK and the place was still pretty lively for a midweek sitting despite the very large dining room.

Food was very good but not stunning. Lots of very unusual dishes you wouldn't find in a regular curry house which makes the whole experience that bit more interesting.

Service could do with a bit of tweaking, varied from very attentive to just ignoring you dependent on which waiter caught your eye.

Watch out for the free drinks, a brandy and a Bailey's (for the ladies of course!) whether you like it or not!!! Nice touch, but they should ask first for the sake of drivers.

Worth a visit but once they get their act together a bit more, I suspect they will have a big hit on their hands with no other Indian restaurants along that stretch of Chiselhurst to compete, they are in with a good chance of being one of the most popular restaurants in the area.
